  1. Schiffner will be replaced by Kleve.
No idea what is wrong with him, perhaps Schiffner is really suffering from an injury.

  2. considering the strange circumstances apparent in the wc 2014 qualifier match between BAHRAIN and INDONESIA refereed by Andre EL HADDAD from Lebanon, I will watch the full match and make a thread on it. The facts are too clear to be true, I hope it at least (have a look at group E standings, the other match of the group and then you know what I mean).

  3. Strange circumstances?
That's true. I'm still shocked, after watching the given penalty missed on 86'. When you will be able to see it, you will laugh, believe me.

  5. And probably English team for Euro:
    Referee - Howard Webb
Assistants - Peter Kirkup & Mike Mullarkey
Additional assistants - Martin Atkinson & Mark Clattenburg
    Reserve AR - Steve Child

    1. Source?
Is the most probable, would be interesting to get to know the reserve AAR.
Cann has a big chance, too, even though the last two seasons were not his best ones.

    2. Thanks.
Dean should be the reserve AAR, or perhaps Marriner?

  6. Thanks a lot Qudamah!

@ Chefren: the "strange circumstances"...I chose this expression not to give any prejudices before not having seen it.

I am watching Makkelie at the moment, quite safe impression from the policeman.

  7. Oszkár Lémon is 4th Official in Hungary - Bulgaria

    1. Strange that an AR is 4th.

I try to formulate it carefully, but FIFA should heavily take the opportunity of investigating the match BHR-IDN into consideration.

    2. Yes, there are some questions about final result. Is it influenced by quick red card in 4th minute?

  8. 2nd yc by Makkelie to a Greek, correct call, strong 1st half.

What happened with the referee of Romania-Uruguay?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yes. Julius Owen Igahoro, Nigerian-born Belgian agent proposed Mircea Sandu 20.000 Euros for changing the referees team for Romania - Uruguay match to control and manipulate a match for sports betting in Singapore. Kassai was not changed by Romanian Federation.

  11. Kassai was appointed for this match and Igahoro proposed Bulgarian team.

  13. Serkan Ok is a 33 years old man, but let me say that he looks like a 40 y. o. :D
Anyway, no big work for Aydinus until now, but many offside calls for both assistants.
They got it right most of the times, and often in borderline situations.
    Still 7 minutes to play.

  14. Out of topic: Rubinos said on twitter that Velasco and Borbalan have EL games, Undiano will be in Champions
"Tres sextetos arbitrales españoles en Europa: Undiano (Champions), Velasco y Borbalán (Europa League) ¡Qué malos son los árbitros españoles!"

  15. Are the referees observed by UEFA in the friendly games?

  19. Most 4th officials were from the home country, but Nikolaj Hänni seems to be from SUI rather than BIH and Christos Nikolaidis from CYP, not from ARM.

Here you can see the red card for indonesian keeper. It appears as a correct decision, however you should watche the other situations, not in this video.

    what do you think?
    Doubtful penalty: 01' 02''

however there are other 2 missed penalties

  22. Have not the time to comment right now on everything, thanks for the vivit discussion.
I will make a thread on yesterday, everything that occurred there. El Haddad, Tagliavento failing in protecting players, the sense (or rather nonsense) of friendlies etc.

Now have to finally finish my work for school :-D
