  1. Proença for Bayern is your guess?
I think that we will see him at Stamford Bridge.

  2. By the way, "Estadio" (spanish?) Giuseppe Mezza.
    Why? :)

  3. Good question :D
Proenca at Chelsea is my guess, too, but I think Lannoy must get something. Real-CSKA, I do not know whether it is good for Lannoy, Chelsea-Napoli would be possible, he had however Bayern on MD6. But let us see :D

  4. Proença Inter-Marseille... mmhh

    ReplyDelete
  5. Then Brych and Lannoy for the rest

  6. Interesting that Proenca has Santos at the line. So Trigo is "only" Reserve AR?

  7. I think Brych Chelsea-Napoli and Lannoy Real-CSKA.
Lannoy had Chelsea in group stage.
Brych still without an italian team in this Champions League, but it's also true that if UEFA wants to test EURO2012 referees, as you also wrote, Lannoy should get Stamford Bridge match, that should be more and more interesting and difficult.

  8. Right, moreover, UEFA does not care about previous Group Stage involvements.. (Webb, Thomson).
But I would give Brych the match now :D It also explains why Pickel does not accompany Stark today, he will surely join Brych in CL. Chelsea and Napoli both joined German teams in Group stage, so no German ref officiated them, the same counts for Bayern Basel with English teams so that one should have actually thought of Clattenburg for this match.

  9. Lannoy: Real - CSKA
    Brych: Chelsea - Napoli
    it's confirmed

  10. Lannoy
    Eric Dansault - Frédéric Cano
    Antony Gautier

AAR: Fredy Fautrel - Ruddy Buquet

  11. Brych
    Mike Pickel - Mark Borsch
    Felix Zwayer

still unknown the additional assistant refeeres, UEFA has not published the appointments, I'm looking for info here and there

  12. as expected.
Shows again how close the duel between Stark and Brych must have been.
Chapron not at EURO as AAR, so my question would be, what about Olympic Games?

  13. Schiffner has by the way a cruciate rupture, that's why he did not appear for such a long time.

  15. Proenca with only a decent performance and heavy mistakes in foul detection. Will re watch the match now for a detailed report.
These seem to be the days of 7-goals-wins..

  16. Many people are saying that Marseille 1-1 was after a foul. What do you think Niclas (and obviously all blog readers). Was there a foul by Brandao?
Anyway I agree, Proença called many phantom fouls and in first half he allowed Marseille wastes of time.
Penalty and card to Mandanda were correct, but not an excellent performance overall.

  17. I do not want to make a judgement, want to see it again.
Clattenburg with an ultra-lenient performance with some mistakes, but overall satisfying.

  18. The 1-0 of Inter was cms offside. Very hard to see.

    2. And yes, it was a striker-foul preceding the 1-1, Inter's defender did not complain, but it was actually a clear foul in the vicinity of AR2

  19. Not the best Brych tonight. He seemed too much relaxed, tomorrow or in the next days I will explain it better, for now I just wonder why. My idea is that he underestimated the match. Why?

  20. Joao Capela was very active on the line. He walked up and down in an area of approx. 30 metres, following the game. I have rarely seen a 4th official doing that. Is this a Portuguese speciality or new UEFA instructions?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, I recognized this, too. Rarely saw a more active 4th official..
