  1. Interesting names here. The referees which I don't know at all are: Direktorenko, Marciniak and Kruzliak. There are also some officials already seen in the Europa League group stage, like Mazeika.
Do you know less or more what are they going to do in that seminar?

    Why is this seminar important?
But I think that from this referees Jug already fot few good matches in europa league (PSG-Atletic Bilbao)
And Stanislav Todorov is quite good referee too.
But I really didnt heard much about other referees except (Jug,Todorov and Turpin).

  3. I will find that out. In general, I guess that fitness programs and media sessions are on the schedule.
Perhaps you remember that I had once (or twice) this referee ranking with new groups. If I remember right, I had Kruzliak in a Talent Development Group. 1984 born and being from Slovakia are good arguments, after Michel, there was not that much.
Turpin, Liany, Jug, Mazeika, Todorov and Munukka are indeed known refs.
3 of these Officials by the way join U17 EURO.

  4. Some interesting news: Blom is appointed for germany Israel, friendly on 31 May and also for Russia-Uruguay a few days before.
Yesterday Under 21 friendly: Scotland - Italy (in Scotland) Michael Oliver was on the middle.

    1. Sorry I wrote "Germany" without capital letter it was just a coincidence :)
Yes, it's true Niclas, you friend will be there.
We have also Schorgenhofer for Netherlands - Northern Ireland on 2 June.
Other friendly appointments to follow in the next days....

    2. I think Hategan was once invited by the Russian federation, then Rosetti saw him, called Collina and suddenly, there was a CL match.
Perhaps, this is a good chance for Fandel to observe this shaky candidate. We cannot ignore it anymore, his ELITE slot is waste.

Are these referees and ARs part of the 2012-2013 UEFA Referee Talents and Mentors Program or was that program replaced by this seminar?
Why France is the only country that does not have an AR invited at the seminar, while all other countries have 1 ref + 1 AR?

    1. I have tried to find that out as well. Hope to be able to answer it soon.
(I however doubt that it replaces the mentor program)

    2. As part of the Referee Talents and Mentors Program UEFA does every year one seminar especially for the new talents in order to give them instructions and to prepare them for the upcoming matches.

France doesn't have any international youg AA and Nicolas Danos ( only AA which follows Clément Turpin in Ligue 1) is not FIFA Assistant. This the reason.

    :) Best regards from France

    1. Interesting, thanks. What about Luzi or Ocak?

Yeah but they don't officiate with Clément Turpin.
Huseyin Ocak is Sébastien Moreira's assistant referee.
Stéphan Luzi is Saïd Ennjimi's assistant referee. He's already 37 years old.

    3. Ah ok, I did not notice that. So Moreira is very probably the next French FIFA ref?

I don't hope so, he's not ready for that in my opinion (I don't find him very good, to be honest).
I'd prefer Nicolas Rainville, and he also works with a FIFA assistant referee: Laurent Stien. Or perhaps Wilfried Bien, but this year or never, since he's already 37.

      To answer some questions.

At the beginning this programme was only for referees. In last years it developed also for assistants. French refs are in "elite talent" group what means that they don't need assistant with them for this seminar. Last year also English ref was in this group.
There were some changes of participants in last day before the sminare (Portuguese and Polish refs are new). For example Portuguese assistant in this programme is also 37 y o.
The participants will be observed untill march 2013. First group of talents got u-21 matches in june.
