New FIFA referees have been officially confirmed

The world's football governing body FIFA has officially unveiled each member federation's roster of international referees and assistant referees.

You can find the officials for this new year following this link to FIFA's website. In December 2012, UEFA had already updated their referee categories.

  1. I have a question about Korea DPR referees and assistants. According to several sources, they are never appointed in any tournament, neither the minor ones. It's also impossible to find pics about them, therefore I would like to know if the known situation in that country is a problem also for football referees. There should be a reason for which they never officiate.

    1. Don't know the reason. It's much easier to sent a federal inspector with 3/4 referees than with whole football team. A pity, the men who work hard can't be a part of international football.

Another idiot decision by national FA... This time in England. See those tackles and let say me how on the Earth they were not red cards in FA opinion and called as obvious referee's errors... I'm curious about Collina's face reading this news. What about 'protect the players'?

    3. Concerning Korea DPR, I think this counts for every aspect or facet of this country, they seem to be isolated from everything - although in female football, they have a quite successful talent.

Happy New Year for you, too!

Sascha Kever stays in category 1 (without a match in the first half of the season in Europe).
