  1. So Kulbakov with a second match involving Spain. But with Aleckovic departure the committee had no other alternative.

  3. Hashimov punished for his crucial mistake? (as far as I read he did one)..Simkus and Dunauskas replacing him and Aleckovic (or rather Mazeika as fourth).

    1. For matches played in the same stadium (Kaunas in this case) they might have appointed the same FO for both games, as FIFA did in U20 and CONCACAF did in Gold Cup.
UEFA works in another manner under this point of view :)
And, yes, I think that Hashimov was sent home for his mistakes.
I hope to download further matches of this tournament to say something more and make predictions prior to the final appointment. For now, I watched only Zwayer highlights in his match, he seeemed good in major decisions.
Kulbakov now got Vassaras after Marko, a very important signal.

    2. As we know in such tournaments there are 2 stand-by assistants from the home nation.

Hashimov's mistake was not only crucial but bad for the whole image of the tournament since Turkey lost the chance to take at least 1 point and have a theoretical chance to fight for qualification.
