UEFA Women's EURO 2013 - Semifinals Appointments


UEFA has officially announced the appointments for the 2 Semifinals of Women's Euro 2013.

Esther Staubli from Switzerland will be in charge of the 1st Semifinal between hosts Sweden and Germany tomorrow at Gamla Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg. She will be assisted by Maria Lisická from Slovakia and Judit Kulcsár from Hungary while Kirsi Heikkinen from Finland will act as Fourth Official.

The second semifinal between Norway and Denmark has been assigned to Ukrainian referee Kateryna Monzul. She will be assisted by her compatriot Natalia Rachynska and Lucie Ratajová from Czech Republic. Katalin Kulcsár from Hungary will act as Fourth Official.

  4. Sweden goal in the second half offside. I watched the British EuroSport and they were claiming that was a terrrible decision. Shocking refereeing how they called it.

  7. I think Staubli did well, with the exception of some minors..
    Kulcsár did not perform well. A wrong offside here and there, the disallowed goal was missed by AR2 - Staubli ruled it as a foul, not as offside. So the Hungarian assistant missed that.

    For my taste the final should be: GER-NOR/DEN: Heikkinen, Paavola, Villa, Palmqvist. The final could be: Albon, Iugulescu, Paavola, Heikkinen, but I think the final appt will be: Palmqvist, Karo, Paavola, Heikkinen

    So-so from Monzul last night. Saw the match live at the arena actually. Probably 8,2 in my book though. Palmqvist, Karo, Massey, Heikkinen in the final. That is my prediction.
