Countdown to Brazil: Nobody failed the last Fitness Tests

Still 7 days to go until the 20th World Cup will be kicked off. And the best news come from Rio de Janeiro's training camp: Nobody failed the fitness tests. FIFA can count on all 90 match officials chosen with the exception of Fijian Ravinesh Kumar who did not even start his trip to Brazil due to an injury.

Hence, the match officials can now fully prepare for their first matches on a mental level - the last hurdle has been taken successfully. Intense theoretical training sessions, enriching trips through a breathtaking country, full stadiums and, last but not least, a bank account filled with 50.000$ (36.700€) are waiting for all of them!

36700 € the same amount for everybody regardless of the performance shown? Do you find that correct?

    1. Thanks for the remark. I re-uploaded them. The rest of missing documents (due to uploadarea.de's crash) will follow soon.

  4. Terrible offside mistake by AR1 Dario Gaona (Paraguay) in Brazil-Serbia (74') disallowing the 2-0 goal for home team... a mistake like this at WC would be embarrassing...

  5. Harald Lechner and his team did really well. Nothing to say. Correct and very clear penalty and easy match apart from that. As the match took place in Mainz, close to the DFB headquarters, I could imagine that Fandel was present there.

  6. One of the worst offside calls in years!

    2. Probably he was focused on the other attacker and failed to adequately perceive and "remember" Hulk's position at the moment of the pass. A thin explanation, of course it was a complete blackout.
