The website of the FAI sais "We were outstanding in the second half. Our attacking after the break was excellent. Slovakia had a couple of chances too. It was probably it was just as well it ended what it did as the discipline seemed to have gone from the game."

Wow. If Aghayev got all these decisions right it could be a massive breakthrough. EL next season?

Then the observer would maybe think, what about player management? 10 yellow in second half. Could the referee be more proactive?

Nothing changes with one match but if the referee got the decisions right and the observer was very happy with his performance the mark is high. We hope that's the case.

This is how Uefa have communicated it to the KNVB. But I believe you.

  12. Overall, in my opinion, a good performance by Shmuelevitz in a not difficult match. A YC for simulation at 69' was correctly issued. Not major issues.
Regarding Gil Manzano: very likely he missed a penalty in first half.
