They already broke conf neutrality rule. I think we'll see UEFA's referee in final who ever playes in the final.

Confederations rule in appointing referees was already broken. I was said that in FIFA tournaments it is applied only in group stages.

Rizzoli in WC 2014 (UEFA team played), Cakir at Club World cup, Kuipers in Confederations cup...
In this tournament three of four matches in QF were refereed by UEFA officials ....

Referees from other confederations are not good enough.

  4. Why Ramos, Bebek and Camille have been sent home in advance ? I didn't think their performances were bad.

I would like to take back one question posted by one of you in the previous message (on QF appointments) asking who could have more chances to attend next WC 2018.
I agree with him on the fact that only few referees belonging to this tournament will be in Russia in 2018; Uefa confederation has a long list of top elite referees still in charge for next WC2018. In my opinion only Orsato (Rizzoli will retire at the end of 2016) and Mateu Lahoz (so far better than Undiano) are eligeble for next WC. May be Soares Dias, it depends on his performances. Inside comnebol Osses, Roldan and Vera could be not be afraid by Vigliano, Zambrano and Marques; on Concacaf Geiger, Aguilar and Garcia should be the names for next WC, while more chances for the other confederations:Al MIrdasi and Sato could be new names for AFC as well Grisha and Camille for AFC and Conger for OFC.
Which is your opinion on that ?

Severe problems in second half extra time for Vigliano, a missed penalty and control lost with many cards after that.

    1. Overal solid performance.
I agree, he had problems with control in extra time, especialy with second YC situation.
But there was no penalty IMO.
AR1 with 2-3 wrong offside decisions.

Al Mirdasi from Saudi Arabia is certainly a talent, only 29 years old. He was the youngest referee at 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Australia, did very well there, was appointed 4th official for the final.
