  1. Anonymous1/9/15 11:38

Dutch Danny Makkelie will be in charge of the friendly match between Portugal and France in Estadio José Alvalade.
He will be accompanied by his u21-team, i.e. AR's Mario Diks and Hessel Steegstra and AAR's Kevin Blom and Jochem Kamphuis. The 4th official will be Joost van Zuilen.

  2. Anonymous1/9/15 12:35

Very hard match for Brych to referee, but he knows how to handle these balkan matches.
First match beetwen Hungary and Romania ended with 12 shown cards and Collum was average in that game.
Brych was already referee in very risky Balkan match(Serbia-Croatia,7 yellow,2 red)so I hope that he wont make many mistakes because this match is type a match like Serbia-Albania,that can very easily be aborted.

    1. In the Match Serbia-Croatia Brych dismissed Matic, and there weren't any reason for second YC! Also, he missed penalty against Croatia at the beginning of the match. It wasn't his good performance. I believe that in those kind of matches such is Hungary-Romania the referee should be from tha Balkans, such as Mazic, Bebek, Skomina, maybe one of Greek referees.

    2. Anonymous1/9/15 18:37

Since Hungary belongs to the geographical area of the Balkans? I'm from Serbia. IMO, Brych right choice and it would be a routine match for the experienced German.

    3. @Nole.

If we are talking about Brych and the SRB-CRO match, here is my comment as blog observer on that match.

      Brych: 8.7
      Borsch: 8.5
      Lupp: 8.4
      Meyer: 8.4

Really good performance with only a few minus but with the most difficult situations correctly evaluated (2 RC's and a penalty appeal from Serbia)."

    4. Anonymous1/9/15 20:12

      Brych 8,8
      Borsch 7,9
      Lupp ????
      Florian Meyer 4,6

    5. Anonymous1/9/15 20:54

Come on @Nole.That foul by Matic on Vukojevic was late and if you see that foul again you can clearly see it was well deserved yellow .Beacuse that was his 2nd yellow it was red for him, so that was good decision by Brych.

    6. Anonymous2/9/15 10:24
      0:04 and 0:11

When we are speaking about Brych good mark in this match..

    7. Still doesn't change my opinion.

    8. Anonymous2/9/15 10:44

No penalty, simulation. To be very precise, missing YC for it. Second YC for Matic very strict. The opponent knew very well what to do in this situation. I don't want to criticize the mark given by blog referee observer because the mark should be given for the performance in the whole match (which was very challenging without doubt) and I didn't see it.

  3. Not problems. Brych,Clattenburg and Rizzoli are the best european referees, I think.

  4. Anonymous1/9/15 12:49

    Who is Serhiy Boiko?

    1. Anonymous1/9/15 13:03

      I think a referee.

    2. Anonymous1/9/15 13:31

      Greece - Finland
Referee: Serhiy Boiko (UKR)- he ist 1st category referee. Some year ago he was No1 in Ukraine, but new other referee Aranowskij is in front of list and he have more confident from UEFA than Boiko.
But the other interested question is that AR women Natalia Rachynska. It is a great call for this women assistent !!
Assistant Referees: Oleksandr Korniyko (UKR), Natalia Rachynska (UKR)

  5. Nicola Rizzoli, good referee, good choice.

  6. Anonymous1/9/15 14:39

I hoped to see another one like Clatts or Cakir in Frankfurt. Rizzoli will whistle Germany for the 6th(?) time, plz correct me if i am wrong.
But anyway, a good choice. He brings the germans luck (6-1 win in Ireland last WC qualifier and last but not least the WC Final last year).
I will be in the stadium. Its the second time that i see Rizzoli live, the first time was also in Frankfurt at a Friendly prior to WC 2010 Germany-Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    1. Anonymous1/9/15 17:28

Rizzoli is so good as Cllattenburg and Çakir.

    2. Anonymous1/9/15 17:49

Rizzoli whistles Germany for the 5th time!

  7. Some interesting observers in U21 qualifying matches: Alano Snoddy (NIR) for Costa Verissimo (POR) and Uno Tutk (EST) for Rahim Hasanov (AZE)
    Appointments are here:

    1. Anonymous3/9/15 12:54

Why is Uno Tutk an "interesting observer"? Can You please explain his status?

    2. Anonymous3/9/15 13:31

Is it possible to post also all U21 appointments on this blog or is it too much work?

    3. The U21 appointments will be posted in the next hour.

    4. Anonymous3/9/15 17:55

      Thank you very much!

    3. Anonymous2/9/15 12:28

Is Marja Kurtes the referee who caused the last 2 minutes of a U19 match to be replayed due to her technical mistake at a penalty kick?

    4. Anonymous2/9/15 13:00

    5. Anonymous2/9/15 16:42

Cannot believe she got a Euro qualifier after that incredible mistake!

    6. Anonymous2/9/15 17:13

      Estonia - England, Talinn, Group 7, 21/Sept, 1800 CEST:
Referee: Dilan Deniz Gökçek İşcan (TUR, 2nd Group)
Assistant Referee 1: Deybet Gök (TUR)
Assistant Referee 2: Nebahat Maktur (TUR)

TFF has revealed Mateu Lahoz for Turkey - Netherlands on 6 September. This appointment should be published tomorrrow.

    1. Observer is Fröjdfeldt (SWE).

  10. Damir Skomina has Spain - Slovakia.

    Source: rfef-cta

    1. And Estrada has Montenegro - Liechtenstein.

Lahoz is confirmed by Spanish FA.

  11. Anonymous2/9/15 16:40

How did she get a Euro qualifier after that incredible mistake???

  12. Anonymous4/9/15 19:10

50' in Georgia - Scotland a goal / no goal situation, Tudor involved. Very likely correct decision taken (no goal) but definitely wrong positioning by Tudor.

  13. Very good, faultless Rizzoli and assistants (especially Di Liberatore) in the 1st half.

    1. Anonymous4/9/15 21:39

I can totally agree. Also great advantage given by Rizzoli before 2:0.

    2. Anonymous4/9/15 22:07

In 58' or 59': Did Di Liberatore wait for the "advantage" goal kick or did he simply miss the clear offside after a shot by a polish safed by Neuer?

    3. Agree. Huge offside missed by Di Liberatore in the 60th minute. He couldn't have applied advantage, must have flagged it.

Links to some situations from Cyprus - Wales (Marciniak) under the post including appointments for yesterday's matches.

    4. Anonymous4/9/15 22:43

Very strong Rizzoli tonight, didn't see any mistake by him.

His assistants, especially Di Liberatore (except the offside situation mentioned above) also with a very good performance.

    5. Anonymous4/9/15 22:59

Tonight, we can assign a very good performance.
Rizzoli was (almost) faultless and very convincing; Di Leberatore with a clear missed offside call, but except this situation convincing too. Other officials on expected level.
So I would go for this marks:
      REF: Nicola Rizzoli [8.5]
      AR1: Elenito Di Liberatore [8.3]
      AR2: Mauro Tonolini [8.4]
      AAR1: Luca Banti [8.4]
      AAR2: Antonio Damato [8.4]
      4thOff: Gianluca Cariolato [8.4]
      Well done!

    6. I would go for 8.4 to Rizzoli (still top class performance but no typical key match incidents and some late whistles, really borderline to 8.5) and 8.2 to Di Liberatore (overall 8.5 - 0.3 [important point for improvement] = 8.2). But I definitely can agree with your marks, too! Simply, visible huge experience.

    7. By the way, Damato slimmed much! I thought it's Bergonzi at first. :)

  14. Boiko (Greece - Finland)

Average performance by the Ukrainian official. No problems with match control however an average foul detection (missed 4-5 clear fouls and 2 of them should be cautioned). Good movement in the pitch. No penalty area decisions apart from a scene that Greece asked for one but Boiko was correct in play-on. Good performance by both AR's.

I would say 8.2 for Boiko and 8.4 for AR's.

  15. Anyone saw Strahonja's PK decision?

  16. Anyone saw Strahonja's PK decision?

    1. Anonymous5/9/15 10:52

I saw the penalty, wrong call in my opinion. Attacker deliberately simulated a contact.
