  1. For the last set of appointments: we already know that Blom has Wales - Andorra. If I'm not wrong, it was reported that Sidiropoulos has a match, so taking into account everything and his previous appearances in other matches, the game for him could be Belgium - Israel.
For Italy - Norway we should see a more experienced official, in my opinion Brych could be there.
NED - CZE will be another crucial game: Skomina? What do you think?
Mateu Lahoz and Rocchi are other names one could expect in the last day of EURO qualifying matches.

    1. Skomina's a good shout for NED - CZE. Eriksson perhaps (although he had a friendly last night)?

    2. Eriksson friendly will be on Sunday in Denmark.

    3. Of course. Sorry, didn't get much sleep last night... Facepalm ;)

    4. NED - CZE it is not crucial game. CZE is sure in Euro.

    5. Sidiropoulos has indeed a match on MD10. So BEL-ISR is very probable.

    6. Even more as Hans Reijgwart is the observer. Would suit nicely. Another name would be Aytekin.

  2. Mateu is AAR with Fernández Borbalán on sunday. Difficult to see him on tuesday

  3. The appointment of Zwayer as AAR1 doesn't make sense, really strange appointment in my opinion.

  4. Plus in totally unimportant match. He deserved more, but he has plenty of time in the future. Why can't we see who the observers are?

    1. Maybe Zwayer is planned as AAR at EURO 2016 which means that he could need some experience there - he did not do this job for more than a season.

Because I was not at home until now. They will be there in 5 minutes.

    2. That could be a option, but I don't understand why they should change AAR's in Brych's team. Let's wait for Brych's next appointment. Maybe we will see Aytekin in France as well, if that is the case Zwayer could be a possibility for Aytekin's team.

    3. At the last EURO, UEFA formed new quintets as well from December on.
E.g. Stark had Meyer and Aytekin, although he previously always relied on other AARs. Or Rizzoli with Tagliavento and Rocchi..

We'll see whether this time UEFA will rely on established teams used to work together or whether they pay more attention to the classification of their AARs.

  5. I wonder there is no single one commentary on refs' performances last night.

    1. I can report: Moen with a correct penalty for Russia, Mazic a very good performance in UKR - ESP (a penalty, a disallowed goal, a good control of the game), Hansen in LTU - ENG had only one minor issue (wall management before a free kick ,minute 79'), Drachta with a very tense match (here and there there were confrontation between players, even more when LUX scored two goals but overall I think it was an ok performance including the penalty whistled), a correctly disallowed goal for offside in AUT - LIE (AR2), nothing to report about the other matches.

    2. Thanks, Chefren. I wasn't able to watch matches yesterday. As there were no comments I believed refs did their job well, and didn't influence the result. It seems so.

    3. I can report: Miroslav Zelinka with a good performance in a really less challenging game in Vienna. A young referee with a lot of potential, in my opinion some room for improvement in his positioning, in a single situation also in his player's management - but overall I was really pleased, even if it was not that difficult this evening.
