It is reported that it shouldn't be a too serious injury. In 10 days, he should be back. I'm quite convinced that he wont be appointed in CL so quickly, now, before important assignments in CL and after this injury, he should at first make an appearance in EL. At any rate, a pity, after Rizzoli's injury, now another one for a Elite referee. Surely, EURO is a very important date and everybody want to be there 100% ready. I wish him good luck.

    1. Mazic is overrunning play in my opinion. Two players challenging the ball, nobody sprinting he's still coming full speed into the penalty area, 5 yards from the play resulting in injury. Not a necessary sprint in my opinion. Best of luck recovering and getting back in shape.

    2. Turan, the main problem was pitch with artificial grass, believe me :)

    3. The main problem was well described by Turan. All the best for his recovery.

  2. Who touched the ball before Ibrahimovic annulled goal?

  3. Brych very lenient the first 35 minutes but no problem so far! The 3 correct cards... Good job in a good match

  4. What about the additional time? 2 Mins were signalized (according to German TV), one was played...

    1. I think mistake by German TV because in my country 1 minute was signalized.

    2. Right, according to German television, two minutes were signalized. But did we see different games? As far as I remember, the whole two minutes have been played...

    3. Well, you meant first half of course. My mistake... On German TV channel 'Sky', one minute was announced. So all fine.

  5. Well done by the whole team. Stayed in the background, full control and acceptance, as far as I saw all offside/onside decisions correct. 1-2 missed fouls, card policy worked despite many situations which were almost yellow cards in the first 30 minutes. Stepwise approach worked.

    2. What about foul of Thiago Motta on Cesc Fabregas? Media appeal for a red card.

    3. Dangerous play from both players, YC to both of them.
No RC, as it was the rather reckless than using excessive force. However,2nd yellow to PSG player is a RC...

    1. Did not see the matches, goals only, and it seems to me that Kassai made a crucial mistake as he did not penalize the foul committed by the Zenit's player (Zhirkov) over Benfica's player prior to Zenit's goal.
Have a question regarding the observer's point of view, and for the sake of marking the referee... If we agree it was a foul, can it be considered a crucial mistake (mark 7.9)?
      Thanks

    2. Agree with you Shearer. Besides that I think there was also a foul prior to Benfica's last goal as the attacker raised his foot too much. I think an Indirect free kick should have been awarded. About your question, I'd like to know the answer as well.

    3. When a foul is missed and the action leads to a goal scored, it is a crucial mistake by referee.
For example, take a look at this report:
      http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3750/3mpv88bc_pdf.htm
2014/15 CL group stage, missed foul by Bebek in the midfield, a few later Chelsea scored a goal.
