  3. WOW !!

    EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED !!!!

first of all because names have been released very in advance respect to matches. In the latest years we knew about appointments just few days before the finals
second because everybody were expecting Eriksson for CL, while now he has been moved to UE; personally I agree since in my opinion several candidates are better than Eriksson but it's just a personal view.
I think that committee didn't lost the opportunity to appoint one English man since no English team are there, and this is not so usual.
But then: Why not Brych ? I think that without German teams, Brych deserved a little bit more than Clatts, even if we consider the past years.
third because Kassai already made a CL final and now he has been appointed as reserve; Let's image if Clatts will injury during the match.........

    1. I like the appointments, especially Clattenburg for the CL final instead of Eriksson (Klasenius' mistake in a quarterfinal). Brych has a EL final in his palmares, so maybe it was Clattenburg's advantage (but he was also outstanding in UEFA competitions whole season). The only thing I don't like are the appointments of fourth officials. In my humble opinion, they didn't deserve it (performances + Kassai's experience).

    3. You are wrong about the past years, at least in both 2014 and 2015 referees for both CL and EL were announced defintiely early. One year ago, for example, referees were announced on 18 May. About 10 days before EL final (as this happened more or less this time) and about 20 days before CL final (6 June).

  4. I must say that I expected everything but this realy not. All the best to referees appointed. WOW
