  1. Definitely a surprise for me. But to be honest, I couldn't watch him in both games, they were not televised. So I think he performed very well.
Having already made his debut in EL group stage, his promotion could follow soon.

  3. For us Aghayev could be considered as a surprise because he is from a small country, but I don't think that Vassaras would appoint him to the final without having 2 very good performances in the Group Stage.

    1. I agree, very well done. A very good impression, so far, in the early 12 minutes.

    2. Agree Chefren ! Good simple verbal warning at 22´ for italian foul. No card needed in this match context.

  6. 25' : YC for italian player #5. Agree with Aghayev because second excessive use of hand to stop promising action.

    1. New stonewall YC for italian #2 : good decision for Aghayev. Just few seconds before, french commentators wanted a foul on Mbape. Not agree with them : minor contact and no need to whistle. For me, good decision for Azerbaijan ref.

  7. First half : very good refereeing for Referees'team. Overall very good control of Agahev with 2 approved YC. Very good help from both AA with several fouls raised correctly! Well done for me !

  8. 49': correct YC. However, poor showing procedure. The player was far away.

  9. 49' : YC for Diop (France) for unfairly behaviour. Good harmonization of disciplinary control by Aghayev.

  10. 85´ : unfortunately, crucial mistake with stonewall RC forgotten for violent conduct by #9 italian player...YC clearly not sufficient here.
