  1. Some important observers (Schüttengruber, San, Dingert, Kopriwa, Ardeleanu especially).

    1. However, Rosetti is from Turin. I think these choices have been made by UEFA to optimize the appointments. Nothing more.

  2. Trentalange will observe both YL and CL games in his trip to Portugal. I think this is the first time.

    1. Well, the same for Fröjdfeldt. I would say, in this case for YL referees it is not a signal of an important observer, but just a choice by UEFA, without the need of appointing another observer.

    1. Thanks for sharing these clips as well for your efforts.

      1) I go for deliberate handball. The defender takes the risk by having his arms in this unnatural position, far away from his body. So penalty kick, no card.

      2) Absolute no simulation. It seems as the foul occured outside the PA, so DFK + yellow card, for stopping a promising attack.

      3) No foul.

      4) No penalty for me. In fact, I go for simulation. So IFK + yellow card.

      5) I go for a RC for SFP. SWI10 has no chance at all to play the ball and only has one goal: to get his opponent down.

    2. Shabby performance from Mateu Lahoz in the game... Proves why he wasn't a great choice for what was one of the biggest matches of the particular Matchday!!

    3. 1) PK according to LOTG, play on according to the spirit of the game.
      2) Direct free kick + YC for SPA
      3) DFK and YC (look at right leg of the Swiss player)
      4) Play on / IFK and YC for simulation.
Even there's a contact, attacker fell down to easily.
      5) Both Xhaka's fouls are possible RC IMO.
Second one looks more seriously on the replay.

    1. And what about episode with a hand at 2:03?

    2. For me, no penalty at 07:00 and punishable handball at 02:03. Mandatory (at least) YC, because it was a promising attack, with the keeper already out.

  6. Maybe penalty in Manchester derby? Goalkeeper in 50-50 situation was sliding with both feets into Rooney, Clattenburg didn't call it...

    1. Excellent decision! No foul!

    2. Very psihycal play from both teams and dangerous tackles and fouls, there were 4-5 penalty appeals, Clattenburg is maybe letting the game too much...

    3. Clearly reckless foul by Bravo, you may not slide in like that. He had no control of his body, jumped in for that tackle, it's at least reckless.

Bailly at least recklessly fouled Otamendi some minutes later (studs tackle in the Achilles tendon) and another penalty was missed, this time for MCI.
