  1. It seems Mulvanny and MacGraith could be a planned option for Thomson's next season.

  2. By the way, the average marks in our reports for the 20 CL play-offs:
    Referees: 8.37
    Assistant Referees: 8.41

  3. Anonymous6/9/13 17:18

MacGraith won't be with Thomson. Thomson will be with a Scottish Assistant Referee.

    1. Anonymous6/9/13 17:55

      So why McGraith is here?

    2. Remember he was also pushed into Euro 2012 as reserve AR for some reason. Pozzi and Brandner are also there without ref.

    3. Anonymous7/9/13 01:35

McGraith has already been with Thomson this season, BEL v FRA

  4. Anonymous6/9/13 18:27

Why was the AR Pozzi (SUI) there without any referee from his country? Which referee will he be paired with?

  5. Anonymous6/9/13 18:29

Does anyone know why Ihringova (ENG) has been ignored by FIFA (WWC) and UEFA (Euro) in the last 3 years, while she is still in the Elite category?

  6. Good questions..
As for Brandner I can only say that it was always strange to read his name in multiple mini-tournaments (among others U21 EURO final 2013) considering that he was rarely appointed in EL. Perhaps Pozzi, Brandner and MacGraith are there due to some "soft" factors..

    1. The fact that Brandner was rarely appointed in EL is IMO irrelevant. From what I saw in Israel Brandner is an excellent assistant and especially at the final he had a superb performance. Probably UEFA wants to push him with another referee since no Austrian ref at the moment is good enough for Elite or ED.

  7. Anonymous6/9/13 22:30

Mac Graith will be Thomsons assistant. Standard of assistant referees from Scotland is shocking and Mac Graith is highly rated within UEFa

  8. Anonymous7/9/13 16:09

Mazic is not a good referee. Collina and your mistakes.....

    1. Anonymous7/9/13 17:20

can I confirm only. Saw this referee in Germany – Austria,he is hyped up.Whistles not well-formed, he walks around the players getting in the way.

  9. Anonymous7/9/13 16:40

    Changes FIFA Referee Comite:
out Tarek Bouchamoudi (TUN) in Magdi Shams Eldin (SUD),
out Jassim Mandi (BHR) in Abdulrahman Al Delawar (BHR)

  10. Webb and Clattenburg are with their usual assistants for this weekends Premier League fixtures. Could mean CL appointments next week.

      Same goes for Eriksson.
